Games with Godly Knowledge Saturday Oct-5th
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” — Isaiah 40:5
We had an incredible time at our recent Biblical game night, all thanks to the outstanding organization by Rajeshbhai and Nikiben. It was also a joyous occasion as we welcomed new members into our BAGCF family, further enriching our community!
Let’s continue this spirit of fun and learning as we gather again on the first Saturday of this month for “Games with Godly Knowledge.”
Below is a recap of the exciting game night we had:
When: This Saturday
Date: October 5, 2024
Time: 6:00 PM
Where: Irvington Presbyterian Church
Address: 4181 Irvington Ave, Fremont, CA 94538
Activity: Biblical Games
Games Recap:
We divided into three spirited teams:
- Men’s Group: Team Daniel
- Women’s Group: Team Martha-Mary
- Kids’ Group: Team Samuel
1. Bible Character Role Play:
Each team received a printed Bible character and was tasked with performing a role based on that character. Teams could choose to sing a song, enact a skit, or present any creative interpretation that represented their character. The performances were nothing short of fabulous, showcasing the talent and creativity of each group. Laughter and applause filled the air as we celebrated each portrayal!
2. Biblical Emoji Guessing:
In this interactive game, teams were given buzzers to guess the biblical characters represented through emojis. The excitement was palpable as the first team to buzz in got the chance to answer. After guessing correctly, they spun the wheel of fortune to earn points. This game was not only a lot of fun but also a fantastic way to engage our biblical knowledge in a lively setting. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a great deal!
3. Organizing Biblical Books:
For this activity, teams were provided with sheets listing various biblical books. They had to identify where each book belongs, categorizing them into prophecy, history, or events within both the Old and New Testaments. This exercise deepened our understanding of the Bible’s structure and helped everyone become more familiar with its contents.
4. Biblical Quiz:
The final game involved answering a series of biblical questions with multiple-choice options. Each team worked together to discuss and decide on their answers, fostering collaboration and friendly competition. Overall, everyone performed excellently, strengthening their faith as we praised God together and delved deeper into the teachings of the Bible and the words of Jesus.
We are truly grateful for the fellowship and fun we shared during this event, and we look forward to many more opportunities to grow together in faith and community. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the evening!
